I don't know about what has been going through your mind, but Josh and I were talking about all the things we were craving last night. Day 2 and 3 seem to be the days where you start to think, "I don't know if I can do this anymore!" or "Why am I doing this anyway, it's not like I'm going to continue doing this past the 21 days."
It's the time you tend to start doubting your abilities and wanting to give into excuses.
So, today focus on your goals. Remember why is it that you are depriving yourself of your usual pleasures in life. I personally am doing it as a kick start to try and acclimate my body to more fruits and vegetables and less processed foods. I'm doing it to lessen my chances of getting cancer, heart disease or any other terrible things that come along with eating fried, processed and fatty foods. Do I want to lose a few pounds at the end of this? Hell yeah I do! But, my primary focus is my interior over my exterior. Because lets face it, who cares if you have a hot bod when you are plagued with cancer or some other illness.
Tell me what your goals are. I would love to hear them and use them to help me stay focused!
Stay Strong,
Emily
My goal has been to help my body fight against diseases and also to continue to cut down on sugar intake. I've been better since the elimination diet, but I want to keep it that way!!
ReplyDeleteI have noticed that I feel full faster and I get hungry faster...maybe my metabolism is speeding up...I hope.
I feel the same way! I'm getting full faster and hungry faster. I know this isn't about weight loss per se, but last night I was feeling "skinner" and this morning, even more so. I decided to weigh myself and sure enough, a 3 pound loss! Pretty crazy that just by increasing my fruits and veggies and not eating processed foods I can get such amazing results! Now to get into gear with my exercise routine! Thanks for sharing Lauren!
